I started work at nhs 5 months ago (previously worked there for 14 years but don't think this counts towards service as far as sick pay goes).
I broke my collar bone 1 month ago and have been on sick and will be off for another month probably.
The conditions say that as I've not had a years service I'll get 1 mth full pay, 2 months half pay.
I don't have a 'regular' pattern of overtime however it was agreed I'd be doing 2 weeks of overtime to cover a colleagues absence, my question is should I get paid for this?
The conditions say that sick pay is based on what hours the employee had worked had he/she been at work!
Any help much appreciated, thanks.
