Without googling, please let me know if you have heard of Shopware

I have asked this question before (a couple of years ago or so) but I am curious what the current situation is

So I then had a look. Always get suspicious when someone claims brand X uses their whatever but never link to the site itself...

One of the listed brands uses shopify not shopware!

Its a potentially up and coming platform - big in Germany and other bits of Europe but not getting a foothold in the UK

It's a Magento alternative basically - similar in many ways, but better technical foundations

As mentioned above, it's big in Germany. It's very good platform, page speeds are totally dependent on how the site is developed much like Magento. I know a few people that use it (I use Shopify at the moment) and I have to say I'd consider changing to Shopware when I decide to redevelop my site.

I was actually going to start a new thread about Shopware 6 but did a search and found this. Yes it is def going to be making its way over here, their dev roadmap is public and very clear. the different solutions that are available seem good. Just about to start a dev site to play about. They provided a good demo a couple of days ago which was well received
