After much research, it looks like Shopify is the best option for me to take my kids clothes shop online... due to time constraints i can't see myself being able to do this so how should i go about findng someone to set it up for me and what should i expect to pay?

Thanks in advance...

It’s a monthly payment with transaction fee as well, there are other cheap ways available as well. if you are interested I worked with a company who can setup this for you. If you plan to do customized website they can have expertise with it too. Let me know if you are interested.

If you can't set up shopify yourself then you will be paying someone to do it for you. In which case you don't need shopify.

Using shopify means the site will never belong to you, you can't move hosts, get full control of the files and you will be beholden to a US company forever who will take your money in larger and larger amounts as you add features to the site.

Pay someone to set up an ecommerce application on your own hosting, you will then have full control and much more freedom over how you manage the site.

I second that,
