Buy the domain and then in your control panel you will be able to create an email, however you may need to pay for email hosting, because a domain on its own doesnt magically get email. Then set up your sub emails with however many people are working in your company.

Most of the above listed companies have space in Data Centres located all over the place. Whilst this is not always obvious to the end user it is important to remember that any IT project will at some point fail. Disaster Recovery is essential is this circumstance so ensure you go for one of the big players, there locations will be more prone to service management principles and will have DR included in the price. From personal experience fasthosts have been the most secure for me.

If you would prefer to choose a web host on this forum than there's a bunch of us here offering email hosting.

For example our own personalised email hosting plans. Eg [email protected] start from £1.99.

Plans include POP, IMAP, SMTP, Webmail and unlike Gmail are 100% advert and tagline free. Giving you a truly professional-edge. And unlike Gmail we don't "read" your emails to work out what adverts to display to you :).

Many of our Personal Email users upgrade to web space as their business grows, which again is very easy to do since we use the awesome cPanel control panel.

Please PM me if you would like any info.
