Nothing new in that list. OK there are some new buzzwords but there really isn't anything different to what those in the know have been doing quietly for years.

5 The backlinks of the future are… linkless?

Instead of backlinks, whole websites authority will be evaluated by 1 billion chinese driven by Cutts rudiments.

Not so long ago, Yandex was trying to change its algorithm and drop backlinks value as a ranking factor. Search results was familiar to those which meta crowler served.

Backlink is nothing more than "human touch" factor (based on the thoughts, experiences etc) included in algorithm. Its importance and value will never drops to zero in future.

It is important for google to distinguish week backlinks from strong ones. Nothing more.

Interesting to hear about AMP - accelerated mobile pages (and how adblockers are affecting their user experience -or rather advertising revenue....),

Linkless backlinks was also of interest in that they (google bing etc) must have a way of contextualising the text into relevant and non relevant. I use rank tracker a lot - but not in the way they suggest - so will be having a play around of the next week or so to see what it shows up
