So are you saying "Backlinks" are not important to bring your site up in SERPS, From what I know
Backlinks "DO FOLLOW LINKS" are basically votes from other websites. Each of these votes tells search engines: “This content is valuable, credible, and useful”.

So the more of these “votes” you have, the higher your site will rank in Google and other search engines

Or maybe you can shade some light to this which will be a learning curve for me.

We use AISEO on all our sites and is very easy to control plus lot of other features.

I've been looking at AISEO and RankMath. I prefer to just stick to the same plugins if I can. What's been your experience of AISEO?

First, the Pentech Moulding site is 24 years previously domain name was registered with an Italian company then we moved to a UK firm.

Like many negative opinions on this board about our website do not make any difference to our efforts or where we invest, Like once MR WARREN BUFFET said don't reinvent if something is working for you don't change it, he had a very old site which was generating revenue for him and he said i don't care what others say.

This 24-year-old so-called UGLY site brings new customers every month and it generates enough revenue that pay our overheads, staff salaries and so on which matters the most than opinions from others who do understand the importance of staying in business WHICH we have sustained ourselves for the last 34 years in the UK.

If AIOSEO was a good plugin, it would probably be highlighting that it's not best practice to have three H1 titles on a page. It's part of the reason that you don't rank for 'plastic injection moulding'.

However, this doesn’t detract from the fact that spending £50/month per site is just a waste of money. The ROI is zero. Your ranking and traffic is independent of your link building.

No confusion SIR, I know many of our competitors running old websites some with HTML formats and they are generating revenues, some of whom i personally know.

Crappy as it is, But working SIR, Opinions do not matter end results do....Besides why grow it when we are satisfied with amount of capacity it is utilised and within next 6 months i will be selling my ventures and retiring fully to enjoy rest of my life.... After grafting long hours for the last 50 years.

Sorry to be so blunt so close to your retirement but the whole world of websites (including Google) has moved on massively in the last 20+ years. What worked back then doesn't work anymore.

I thought this board was professional and followed forum etiquette but maybe I was wrong, in my journey of online ventures, I have been a member on various subject forums and everyone respects members and doesn't get personal and get carried away with their opinions

Then a friend on that forum told me making a website without promoting is like sticking a leaflet in the toilet, so learned about SEO on page "Keyword, Meta Tag, and so on" off-page backlinks, and in a very short time my site was in serps first page.

Now we make our e-commerce or static websites on the WordPress platform, we have invested a small amount of revenue buying relevant plugins and themes including paid version of AISEO plus a tag plugin, all our websites are SEO'ed offline and online and basically, we outsource someone to do backlinks with high authoritative sites which cost around £50 per month per site and almost every website of ours is on first page of google in 2 or 3 positions for our targetted keywords and we maintain this progress every month.

PS: The other useful tool i came across is "Keywords Everywhere" which has a minimal cost, this is an add-on to the Firefox browser well worth it.

It's a bit difficult to respect a wrong opinion. Everything you've said in this thread regarding SEO techniques & strategy is wrong. It isn't working for you, so why would you share it on a forum and then try to defend it. It's a forum where people share their thoughts. Expect to get told when you're wrong.

There is nothing personal about the posts in this thread. The opinions are the result collectively of many years of experience. We may know nothing about injection moulding but we do know a lot about websites, marketing and SEO. You have chosen to refute the given advice without cause. This is your loss. The keywords meta tag (which is what they were talking about) is not, it's ignored by all major search engines.

Seems OpenCart didn't get the memo then. Meta Keywords started being ignored by Google many years ago due to abuse (manipulation).
