Our site has reached the stage where we're ticking over quite nicely - having tracked conversions for quite a while, we're now at a 0.6-0.8% conversion rate. To date, we've done very little SEO but I'm figuring that to take the site to the next level, i.e. 100 hits a day to 1,000 and so on, we need to bring in an expert to concentrate on SEO.
I appreciate that few SEO experts are paid on results but I'd like to think that over time, we'd at least see our website being developed in terms of regular content in the short term (plus being provided with advice as to what we could do ourselves to develop the site for better SEO) with a medium term strategy to achieve higher rankings.
If interested, I'd like to know a little about your experience as an SEO expert, your company, a case study or two, your service and your costs. Following this we can discuss our site, budgets etc.
We've a relatively modest budget, which based on the quotes I've recieved, would appear to be a sensible starting monthly figure. Based on our consistent conversion rate, the budget would increase as sales volume increases (naturally...). I don't need to hear from anyone who can promise number one spot in a month for £x as I've been there before. I suppose you could say I'm looking for a reputable SEO expert whose typical client is a small business owner and who can provide a reliable service that they see developing over time.
