I guess everyone is missing the point here.
Semantic search means 'meaning of the search'. Instead of showing keyword matching result, Google is trying to understand what is actually searched and how it is related to the webpage it is showing.
For example: if you are searching for 'breakfast', instead of showing images of breakfast, Google is showing restaurants which are serving breakfast near you. So if you are restaurant owner and you serve breakfast, it is important that you have a menu section for breakfast items.
So consider yourself a visitor, and try to understand what and why a visitor should come to your page and what extra information you may place on the webpage or a page linked to this page.
