Hi there. We are small not for profit in the UK and not yet VAT registered. I want to sell face to face (either in person or via Teams) training and consultation in Lithuania. I am not selling or moving physical goods. Do I need to charge VAT on the training and consultation. I can find info about selling physical goods but not training. Any help and advice appreciated.

A few questions:
You wish to sell your services to Lithuania? Or the division, that being part of your company you wish to sell?

Can you sell a part of the company, is it separated from your firm?

We sell training and consultation. We will go to Lithuania to do trainings to professionals. We will also do this via Teams or Zoom. I do not wish to sell the company.

You are not registered for VAT so cannot charge anyone VAT!

As you mention, may be better to ask someone in Lithuania about their requirements!

BTW training would be considered a service. You also need to consider where the service takes place.
