Selling a domain

Any recommendations for a good place to list some domains for sale?
For auction sales I use DomainLore.uk and Flip.uk. DomainLore has a listing fee of £5, if not sold, and then apply a modest commission on sale price, 5% or 10% I don't recall. Flip don't apply any fees, but probably have a smaller user base as they're not so established. I'd try Flip first then use DomainLore if no sale. You can apply BIN prices to your listings on either site.

You can list domains in the marketplace at Flip, but I've had no success with this approach. SEDO and Dan.com are similar, but Dan recently hiked their commissions (GoDaddy owned) so domainers are moving away from them. SEDO have a poor rep amongst domainers.

The auction sites mainly attract domainers, so prices won't go to the end user level unless it's a good 'un. In the end it'll sell either way if it's an obviously valuable name, but if not you could end up doing a few renewals if you go down the listing path.

Good luck.

However…

There often isn’t a lot of money in just a domain name. Not now there are so many TLDs to choose from.
