''Little little kids going digital has become an increasingly familiar tale''
So 11 years IT experience at age of 12 maybe 11? Anything is possible these days in the IT industry. And that's why so many Teen Enterpreneurs out there... ...

Speaking of threads in the wrong places, and sorry to go off topic. But am I alright to re-post a thread I started in a different section, because maybe I posted it in the wrong section in the first place, or I think it may get a better response in a different section? Could maybe a Mod or a more experienced member tell me?

Cheers.

Sorry I'm late guys, did I miss much?:D:D

Nick, The original thread was the best, the rest can't compete. So I would suggest that if you don't have any more material you should move to the next location. :)

You cannot expect every thread to end in a death threat and panda love...

The problem is Nicks hopelessness was mesmorising first time round, but he just hasn't become any more hopeless since.

Pull your finger out Nick!

'ere, Nick - I've got 75 Sq Metres of laminate flooring to lay in a week - I'll give you £50 + all the carpet you can eat if you give us a hand!

Can't say fairer than that - it's a darn sight more than you'll earn spouting toss on this forum.

Actually, thinking about it - I might keep the £50 and just use a spare plank instead. ;)

Tragically he will earn more than that by NOT working for you that week. And you still paid him :p

Everytime I see a tax return I think of Nick somewhere, kicking back with a beer and watching Jeremy Kyle at my expense. Warm feeling

Are you able to send me some example of the price he can supply you hardware for?

If the margins are still possible I would be happy to look into buying some stock (through you) and selling myself.

You would still make money, but you would not have to sell anything.

I would need you to show me example prices though!

Okay, send me a PM of what software and hardware you would have in mind, Nick:)

Done - don't let me down Nick!!

;)

i just wondered how is this little venture was working out? :)

**faints with surprise!** great stuff, hope it works out ok. looks like Nick can actually apply himself to something for more than 5 mins...;)

It looks like he has got a legitimate supply of low cost software. Just that he doesn't seem able to get setup and selling himself.

It's worth having a look at! I could sell it no problems, I don't mind cutting Nick back in. Win win, and Nick would technically be a trading businessman!

Nick. If the software/hardware sales don't work out, I suggest that you could make a bit of money by blogging. Get yourself a blog - wordpress, blogspot, whatever. Sign up to Google AdSense and get some ads on the page - yes - people DO still click on Google Ads, and yes, people ARE still making money this way.

What could you blog about? Well, something that interests you. Here are a few suggestions:

Trolling for Beginners
How to Make Money - Without Actually Working!
The Ins and Outs of Getting Your Ebay Account Blocked
Working From Home - If I Can Do It, You Can Too!
How To Stop Real Business People Working

Pick one from any of the above list, I reckon that you're an expert on all of those subjects, and no doubt could write good quality content on any of them.

All the best!

Thanks! If anyone would like genuine software at the right price, let me know what you would like. I will be posting a list today of what I can offer. My prices are the cheapest in the UK.

How about you don't post anything publicly at the moment. I'll PM you for more, I'm sure if what you say you can offer is true, that I will be able to keep you more than busy enough.

PM sent again!

run, dude, run...AND cover you're own butt BTW!

Nick says he can get me software that is both genuine and cheaper than I see it for sale anywhere else online - if that is true then I can sell it.

The software comes from the states. I have no reason to assume there is anything dodgy about this. So long as Nick remembers to pay duty on wht he imports it's all fine! I assume Nick has included the cost of the duty HE is responsible for paying in to the price he quoted me.

It's worth my time to have a look in to it. And if I make money myself and get Nick off the dole I will be demanding the highest level of respect (including hand kissing) from all UKBF members ;)
