Hi all, we plan on starting a scrap metal export buiseness, where we export scrap to India; however we are having difficulties finding suppliers of large amounts of scrap metal here in the UK

Does anyone know of where the best place to purchase quantities of scrap would be

Just an idea? Or do you have a plan?

Won't the new (not built yet) Tata Electric Arc furnaces for Port Talbot take UK scrap and turn that into new iron, that will surely change the value of scrap in the uk and may change you basic business fundamentals as you will need to be able to purchase and send scrap overseas for less than tata buy it for in bulk and ship to Wales
