Hello,

I am what you call useless when it comes to writing a sales letter and would appreciate any help or advice on writing one! or even have one made for me FREE of charge (thats the cheeky part I'm sure)

Any advice would be great as I'm sure their is lots of successful sales letter writers on here.

Thanks in advance,

David

I have had many cleints come to me for sales letters that had previously written their own.

I DO NOT advise it. Why?

Would you expect to win a gran prix in a ford fiesta? Would you expect to catch a record fish with an old rope and bent wire for a hook? No of course not.

How can anyone expect to create sales with the wrong tools.

REAL EXAMPLES:

Nicola 1 sale a month with her letter. 32 a month with mine.

Roy, no sales with his. $1,500 a day with mine.

George none with his. $800,000 in 21 days with mine.

Kevin none with his. $2,4 million with mine.

Should I go on?

If you want results .... you need to invest.

Writing letters is a scientific skill that should not be attempted by amatuers.

I certainly am wanting more sales and also willing to invest money to the right company that can do the job.

I have seen many companies and people advertise they can do the job and have seen people buy into their stories then get disappointed by the sales letter failing basically.

As for Nicola, Roy, George, Kevin which companys do they own or work for as these are the sort of things you read on websites .... just names and numbers never the real deal.

Thanks for your reply.

AND ...

Just one thing I failed to pick up on from you.

In my experience it's rarely just the sales letter that fails.

For example...

You can have the greatest sales letter ever written that can have the admiration and acclaim from just about anyone.

However, send it to the wrong targets, it fails. Get no traffic, it fails, have no system or strategy in place... a total failure.

There is more to it than just a letter, it's a complete system.

Hope this helps.

If you want to replace "writing a sales letter" with "designing websites" and "writing one" with "designing one", would the request make any sense?

Alan is right, it's a skill. And, it's a skill that takes time and experience to acquire.

I was recently listening to an interview with Clayton Makepeace - one of the world's best copywriters - and he said that, in his first year of writing copy, all he had was losers.
