I want to use ACT (2009 Premium) for a telemarketing campaign and have configured a shortcut key to automatically dial contacts, the only problem is I can’t work out how to configure a shortcut key to hang up? Does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks Helen

    Hi Helen,

    You will have to manually hang up the phone itself. Once you are ready to end the call click Hang Up to disconnect the call.

    When the call is complete, hang up the receiver and click the stop button on the Timer window. The Record History dialog box will then appear.

    Hope this helps.

    I think SAGE really overlooked this, as it seems crazy there is no way to setup a hotkey to hang up. I am now using autohotkey with this simple bit of code to achieve what I want:

    F3::ControlClick, WindowsForms10.BUTTON.app.0.2004eee2, Dialer

    I can now do everything I want in ACT using shortcut keys. I really hate having to constantly click with a mouse, it just takes too much time.
