Well thats the problem ,unfortunately not a lot were left behind.:p

and any that were usually got hung shortly after.:|

Earl

Well as a deeply religious person I do have feelings for families who are left behind. What did Jesus say after being hung on a cross "Father forgive them, as they know not what they have done".

I want to be more like Jusus.

Anyway we were talking about Michael Jackson, not sure how Hitler and the rest came into it.

Yep Godwins crops up in every long winded thread on this place ...

And if you want to be like Jesus, does that mean you will die an early death??

Heard from someone that MJ is now a muslim so not understanding this burial thing of his thats all over the papers!

I think you'll find it was actually "Father, don't forget to record the Simpsons on Sky 1 at 6pm on the Sky Plus box for me!"

Don't call death upon me, I will live as long as Jesus wants me too.

Michael is now dead, so he cannot take charge of his own burial, so its what ever his family believes in.

Still don't get it, Hitler was behind the killing of a whole generation, Michael Jackson is a Superstar.

Wrong way round, it's Hitler who is the true Superstar, still being talked about on forums more than 50 years later. Now that's real Superstardom, not a temporary fad.

I'll be long gone when the 50 years is up, but I'll bet that nobody will still be talking about Michael Jackson.

Godwin's second law states that a thread has come to The Holy Grail of Truth when someone points out that Jackson was the love child of Mother Theresa and yon Adolf the Austrian, raised by chimps in Elvis's secret church.

(Anyway Billy wants to be like Jusus, a soft drink offshoot of the Pastaferians.)

But half of his family are muslims and half are Jehovas (sp?) Witnesses so its going to be a fun wake!! ;)

Doesn't matter what religion you are, but you should beable to come together in time of grief.

I don't have a problem with any religion be it Muslim, Jehovas, Catholic. Poeple should beable to respect others religious beliefs, but then there are not many like me :p

Neither do I. It's just the Jews you have to watch out for.

OK, this is ridiculous.

Why does everything have to descend into an argument?

If we were to all ever meet up, this would never happen in person, hiding behind your computer lots of you seem pretty tough.

So, I have pretty much stayed away from all the MJ (R.I.P) threads because there are so many, these arguments are inevitable here and the last time I posted about him, was the day he died.

I have always been a fan of Michael Jackson, being young though I never ever got a chance to see him perform in person. Now I'm older, his new tour "This is it" was a perfect chance to see Michael perform in person, live on stage.

Me and Jess are both very upset that we now don't get to see him perform live. We however, don't feel angry, don't feel annoyed, just upset that such a loving person has died, left 3 kids, family and millions of fans around the world.

Whatever your personal view of the guy, I know what I and many others believe. He is innocent. If anything, you should feel sorry for the poor chap.

Imagine, he is 'The King of Pop' the highest paid and successful performer at his height, which is when the allegations started. Sleeping, in the sense of, sleeping/sharing a bed (No foul play) with, there isn't anything wrong with it, the people who let their own kids sleep in the same bed, new Michael. Michael had been trying to help them.

Then wait for it, Michael, who is officially diagnosed as being a regressed 10 year old, becomes a target. End of.

He, is the victim in all of this, nobody else. The allegations and accusations, the dirty thieving parents who did all this accusing killed Michael. Can you imagine how worried and scared and what he must have had to do, to keep himself together through a time when all you media loving, gossip whores just stood by and took the piss.

Michael is a human being who has done an enormous amount for thousands and reached out to millions of starving, dying people all over the world.

He has raised Millions upon Millions for charities. With all YOUR laughing in his face because he genuinely wanted to make the world a better place, but with ignorant and foolish minded people that cannot see the media for what it is, cannot ever begin to comprehend that there was actually one person in this planet that could help people, but thanks to those same people, He's now in his eternal sleep.

His family must be completely and utterly devastated by what has happened. A father and mother have lost their son, brothers and sisters have lost their brother, and 3 children have lost their dad.

If you have ever nearly lost somebody, like I nearly have personally in the last few weeks, you would never ever be so callous, indurate, heartless and pure spitful to somebody that has past away, leaving millions of loving people behind.

Michael was a dedicated performer, loved his fans and truely loved this world that we live in.

It's such a huge and tragic loss, however he WILL be remembered in 50 years time, he's done so much, conquered so many things and his music will continue to play and you will hear it forever throughout bedrooms, schools, corridoors, nightclubs, on your car radio for ever and ever.

Me and Jess will be recieving one of our tickets as a souvenir, we'll have one of the tickets refunded, and have one of the tickets sent to us.

He is still making history, even today.

Rest in Peace Michael, our thoughts go out to yourself and your family.

Oh dear ... Jamie, I would say to anyones face what I type out as those who know me and have met me will tell you ... so generalisations are a bad thing!!

Ok you have your view and take on it, others like me have our view and take on it - its called a democracy and by not agreeing with you and others of your ilk means we are merely expressing our freedom of speech - sorry if we don't all wear tinted glasses!!

Cor Julie*. Calling me a whore? Phew. 'ard as clotted cream.

*Julie: Asonda. Asonda music, Julie Andrews. Just in case you didn't kno.

Took you that long to come up with a two liner? I'm disappointed. I've been sitting here grinding my teef in suspense at the fact "Dawg is replying to thread: RIP Michael Jackson", only to have been let down, Sir.

Totally agree in fact I believe old Joe is beside himself.

In case Michaels will is found or he and mumsey don't get custody of the estate ,oops I mean kids.:|

In the meanwhile back at the ranch the family is doing what most normal families do on such a sad occasion.

Good analogy*: I pulled out before it got sticky. And why would I ever take any notice? Are we entwined in a way I have yet fathomed? Cor! How exciting!

*See what I did there? For you.

Eurgh ... entwined sounds all sweaty and hot - yes I noticed, really no need to flag up your humour, think I get it by now .... phew! Bloody man!!

I really do need to quit with this red bull stuff, its really not good for me - I am sprouting wings as we speak ...

Can anyone really be bothered now with this thread?? Think the poor man (as in skint!! ha!) should be allowed his day in his casket - on public view - weird - wonder if that is to scotch rumours that he is still alive etc??

That's silly of you to say. Hitler was Notorious, that don't make him a superstar.

Well others like you should go elsewhere and express your views. You should have respected the fact this thread was started for Michael's fans. You've come on here making assumptions i.e The difference between aquitted and not guilty.

You never got back to explain yourself because your information was totally incorrect.

If you want to call what Hitler did dazzling, then that says alot about you.

It says nothing about me at all - it was a joke. Has MJs death wiped away your sense of humour?

I could reciprocate and state that you blind hero-worship of this rather odd (but talented) little man is really quite worrying for someone who uses a site for grown-ups!

Perhaps it's time to tootle off now?
