Regus Offices?

O

Officebird

I wouldn't be able to help with actual space, but can help with call answering etc. Call answering is £5 set up and £1.20 per call. No monthly fees or minimum call amount. Check out the link in my sugnature block for prices and services and then compare them with Regus to give you an idea of value for money:)

I can help with the space and mailing addresses complete with mail forwarding. Website is http://www.maildroppers.com and mailing addresses start from £10 per month - hot desks from £30 per week and conference/training rooms from £70 per day. We are also negotiating with other Virtual Office providers so we can provide a wider range of addresses. The company is not for profit and any profits which do get generated are reinvested with all surpluses going to charity.

Hi,

When we were looking at offices we looked at Regus alongside other business centres and offices offered by landlords.

The figures that came through from Regus were so high that I called them because I thought there was a mistake somewhere. There was no mistake and that was only the baseline, it didn't include a number of extras. We could have negotiated with them but their figures were so high compared to other options we dropped them straight away.

Having said that I'm certain that they are the correct solution for some businesses - just not ours.

I would never use Regus again for actual offices or virtual.

Their prices are very high (eveything is an extra) i.e. what you are quoted does not include internet add 60 per month for 1 connection. Their IT support is terrible etc etc

When we moved out of there (due to high prices and poor service) you are forced totake a virtual office - wrong invoicing, messages not taken, calls put through to wrong number i go on

Never again

Regus are good - but as I've said on another forum a friend of mine got stung with all the cost of all the hidden extras. Make sure you know exactly what everything costs and the reoccurring charges otherwise using the meeting rooms frequently soon adds up not to mention the other costs.

I think serviced offices are great but as they are all so different you need to check out a couple of different providers - especially the ones that are all inclusive.

Hope that helps

They are by far the most officious of all of their ilk. Late payment charges - £30! Plus interest at 5%. For an hourly room rate of approx £30!! They work on the premise that the customer is always wrong and their prime and only objective is to maximise their income regardless of service. Try to talk to someone locally about their invoicing and you will end up talking to Head Office in Ireland who frankly don't give a stuff. Always assuming that you can actually make contact with someone. Or don't get cut off. Or aren't referred to someone else, who may or may not turn out to be a passing office cleaner. Email someone locally, well, no chance, email addresses have been taken away from their local staff and all emails end up in the same box. Great for them, hell for the paying customer. They are registered offshore for tax purposes. Oh, and their email based invoices invariably open up blank, so it's hardly surprising that there is the occasional late payment. Try to ask for a hard copy snail mailed - again, forget it. And their virtual office costs are a joke - nearly £100 per month for one telephone number and one mail box.
Frankly I would rather sit on a park bench in the cold and rain than ever again have to resort to using their facilities.
Better that you open up a business account with Clydesdale or Yorkshire Bank (both part of the same Group) and have full use of their excellent Financial Service Centre facilities throughout the UK FOR FREE

You have been warned.

Where about do you want to set up your office, as I see your name as International?
If you are going to be setting up office space in a foreign country where no one speaks English, then I would definitely go with Regus.
When you request a price, make sure you get the "all inclusive" price, which includes all their services.

Shop around, there are many office providers if you are not a Regus fan ;)
