Recommendations for Shift Planning Software

I have a client (hotel owner) who is looking for a software solution for their rota planning. They have a lot of temp/part-time staff on the roster which means that most of the online time/rota platforms become too expensive because they charge per staff member, and the cheaper ones I have looked at are just really basic and not much better than the spreadsheet they currently use. What do the people of UKBF use in your businesses?

Thanks for the reply. I should have been clearer though - my client is looking for a shift planner not leave management. They need to assign shifts to staff, ensuring all key positions are filled and staffing levels are adequate for the expected volume of work etc.

These sort of planners cost money to develop and maintain which is why they cost so much.

Have they tried any of these:

They don't seem to be that expensive. The top on in the list is only $29/month for 30 users.
Great info - thanks. Hadn't heard of those before. The pricing certainly seems more reasonable than what we have found so far. Will have to try a demo and see which package might work. I suspect they might need the "expert" subscription so for 60 staff it would be $189/month but still far cheaper than the £240 the equivalent Deputy subscription.
