Reasonable advertising income estimate?

I'm writing a business plan at the moment, and I'm wondering what a reasonable estimate would be for a website to earn per page view. The idea is to use Google Adsense as one income stream, and I'd like to ensure my financial information is as accurate as possible.

On the same subject, is Google Adsense still the best way to advertise your website, or are there other advertising networks that perform better?

I have a site with about 3000 page views per day. Adsense earns me about $50/month. So it’s less than a penny per page per month.

Banners are another income stream. But a tiny income and only if all your visitors are unique.

Consider also many people now use blockers to remove adverts and trackers. Which reduces income even more.

Unless you are selling products or services or getting millions of page views it’s difficult to make money from a website.

As an aside, my son works for a comparison website in Germany who make money from sponsorship and affiliate sales. Their break even visitor numbers are 4 million/month.

Thank you.

I'll probably give Google Adsense a miss in that case. I was planning on having a subscription model anyway, so the adverts were meant to add a bit of income from people who didn't want to subscribe.
