It may be useful to learn how search engines work and how people search on the web; link also provides info. on basic keyword research.

People looking for fashion items, do not always search for brand names, and the more competitive a search term is, the more difficult (more SEO work) will be required for it to rank highly (i.e. to get to Google page 1), e.g. the term "mens designer fashion" is less competitive than "Armani".

If you're aiming to rank highly for some of the fashion brands mentioned above, and have a limited budget, it may be better approach to extend your keyword research to less competitive terms.

One way of getting links is link exchanges with relevant (fashion related) sites. Another is to build a content rich site that will attract other sites to naturally link to yours.

Links to the sub-pages - preferably with text relating to the words you would like to rank for. However, there are not many places that are going to give you out links to your subpages for free because there is no reason for them.

Some ways you can get links to your sub-pages:

*If you have well-designed sub-pages and/or custom graphics for each sub page you can submit to portfolio sites like DeviantArt and links to the page.
*Link Exchange
*Use of JS using sub-pages as demo pages
*Forum sigs
*Articles
*Blog reviews (natural & paid)
*If your page uses a custom script you can submit to sites like phpclasses.org
*Directories with deep links
*Partnership with blogs
*Press releases
*Classified ads
*Guest posting
*Emailing the suppliers

More spammy ways:

*Comment spam
*SMS spam
*Guestbook spam

etc.

The amount of work to get all your sub-pages ranking for their top terms is pretty big. There are only 10 slots available and you really need to be in the top 3 for most terms.

The other option is to become a brutish authority site like Amazon, Yell or Thompson Local and be able to rank without needing external links.

Some of brands i am looking too rank for are Armani, CP Company, Stone Island, G Star, Hugo Boss & Paul Smith....Not a lot to ask for i know

As suggested your chances of ever ranking well for these terms is practically zero. You are already competing against every other site selling promoting and commenting on these brands so you really are going to struggle. Maybe in about 2 years after spending thousands on marketing you might begin to creep up the charts.

However, you need to pour some time and effort into the site first, the architecture is very weak as is your page structure and SEO.

I do agree with this statement.

However - with regards for ranking for brands go for longtail as a start i.e. Armani jeans, ladies armani jeans and women's armani jeans etc.

Choose other terms such as "cheap", "affordable" to target specific searchers etc.

Pay particular attention to your title tags, internal text links, meta description.

Good luck!

honestly, its better to outsource, they have much more resource and are less close to the project! I am currently carrying out a link building exercise in house and i can honestly say its the most frustrating project i have ever been involved with! It might be easier if you are trying to sell a product rather than a business support package but honestly, its worth getting some kind of professional advice. good luck!

SEO Positive

Ranking for keywords such as Armani will be a tall order.

I would start researching long tail keywords that have less competition then work your way up.

Flauk is right, page 1 for armani would be hard, however page 2 would be pretty easy, but you wont get many visitors on page 2.

Manybe looking at spelling erroe for armani, like:

amani
amarni, etc etc

I know its not ideal, but its easier, and still many people do type them errors in to Google.

Hi,

you can do all the activities off- page optimizations and on page optimizations for the your themes related sites.
firstly you decide the keywords what is more suitable for you and how much competitions. then create good meta tags, and then you promoted the your sites. you work link exchange, dir sub, forums, blog, article and bookmarking then also track the what is progress for your sites in weekly or months....
