Rank math

I have installed rank math and connected my Google account to it.

Would I still need to keep the Google site kit plug-in now I have rank math or would the site kit slow the site down?

Remove it, you don't need it for anything. Rank math can include any snippet you might need for GA. Personally, I hate GA so I work with Matomo for privacy and because it's much easier to understand (Self-hosted).

Get rid of anything connected to Google: site kit, fonts, analytics. The fewer third party connections you have the faster your site.

If you add a bit of custom code to your theme you can even bin rank math.

Rank Math would be all you need in this case!

It's already been answered, but I'll say it again. When you have Rank Math installed, you can remove Site Kit.
