Quote Software \ email follow up

I'm looking for recommendations for small company quoting software and\or email follow up software. We basically subcontract manufacturing.

We currently use an old quotewerks version and in the past combined that with a little software tool which triggered follow up emails at specific durations. Unfortunately that email software went obsolete and I'm struggling to replace it.

I'm reluctant to embrace a full CRM tool if only that we're a small company and most of the functionality will be wasted. Plus the recurring pricing on these tools looks pretty high.

Any suggestions or solutions welcome.

Yep. A lot of choice with uncertain results, hence wondering if members here had any real world experience. The ability to automate quote follow up via email is something I'd really like to introduce.

ok - that's focused towards trades people - we're a manufacturing company so I'm not sure it fits our use case.
