Question for Bridal Studios

Hi all, I have a quick question about the Bridal Outfitter space.

I currently offer an advertising service to shops like these, however my offer of booking more appointments doesn't seem to be resonating quite well / owners just don't seem that interested in this.

Sure, this could be for any number of reasons - not least of which that my primary outreach method is ringing them up directly, certainly something that no one likes - but I have an inkling that '10 new appointments per month' just don't seem to be a primary desire for bridal studios?

Could anyone in the industry, whether an owner, employee or otherwise shed some insight from within the business?

What makes bridal studio owners tick?

Many thanks ?

Why do you feel your advertising service will provide them with a better return than your established competitors?

Surely you did market research with shops like these who are your target market before developing your business model ???. If you want insight set up a focus group or one to one interviews with bridal outfitter and pay people for their insight.

    People want sales, not appointments.

Sell the sizzle, not the sausage!

It could also be that they are already utilizing different methods for attracting new business and appointments. Have you considered reaching out to bridal studio owners in a different way? Perhaps through social media or email marketing, for example?

This said, I don't know what service specifically you are offering but generally, bridal shops will gain their clients from the following methods:

    1. Advertising: They may use traditional forms of advertising such as print and radio, as well as digital advertising such as social media and search engine marketing to reach a wide audience. Instagram and photo shoots of models in their gowns will be a big one.
    2. Promotions: Special discounts or packages to brides-to-be. This could be for their first appointment or for purchasing their wedding dress.
    3. Word of mouth: Encouraging satisfied customers to spread the word about the shop can be a highly effective way to attract new business. They may offer referral incentives to customers who recommend their shop to their friends and family.
    4. Bridal shows and events: Participating in bridal shows and events can be a great way to showcase their shop and meet brides in person. They can also network with other wedding vendors and potentially gain referrals.
    5. Online presence: As noted in item 1, Instagram! Having a strong online presence, including a website, social media accounts, and positive reviews on various platforms can help attract brides who are researching and comparing shops online.
What of the above 5 are you offering or is it something different?
