Public Liability Insurance..

Hello

Join the FSB, I think £150 (annually) or so - you then get preferential rates - they are connected with Towergate - I saved three times the joining fee on my insurance policies, and no, I do not work for FSB!!!!

Hi Mark,
The difference is huge. You are sure the conditions are the same? You can always give us a call (0845 450 9959). If we can check the conditions of NFU we can match them in our system.
If you are happy with NFU, use them but don't forget us next time :)

Try the NFU I got a stuning quote from them yesterday.

Simply business wanted £349 NFU quoted £189 for slightly better cover. I nearly bit the young ladys hand off.

Always always use a [good] broker. They should be able to compare rates from several insurers most fo which will not be accesible to "the man in the street" and will most times have other clients in the same line of business to you. The premium they charge including thier commission and any fees should be competitive with "direct writers" and you have two useful extras added on at no charge to you. An established procedure to look into any suggestion of unfair or misleading advice and the backing of Professional Indemnity cover in the event all else fails. Well worth it in my opinion. I am a (currently out of work) insurance broker before you ask and this is my personal opinion.

We are part of the Towergate/Brokernetwork , but privately owned, so you get personal service matched with, the buying power of Towergate. More than happy to have a look at things for you.

PS - looking at your trade you will probably save money by going on a retailers package (asuming it's retail)
