Promotional Merchandise

Hi, I'm looking to start my own business selling promotional merchandise. Pens, mugs, etc.
Everybody seems to have the same or similar catalogue with the same prices.
Does anyone know how I can actually tap into the source and who the wholesalers are.
I've tried the web but it's a need in a haystack job!!!

The BPMA (British Promotional Merchandise Association) used to publish a printed directory that was a mine of information to get up that step of the ladder. Sadly now gone online with password protected member access only now.

Printware and promotion is the garment side of that but you'll find several exhibitors and advertisers in the magazine have what you want.
