Project Management Software

Hi,

I'd like to start using some project management software. It needs to be flexible and powerful, but easy to use.

Ideally it will be web-based (so that multiple people can use it and it will sync automatically) though I guess it could be based on the computer and just synced with some web server?

Also if I can use it on my own website (like an e-commerce system) that would be ideal, especially if I can customise it. Pricing-wise I'm not looking to invest over £100.

Anybody got any recommendations?

Cheers

Thanks for the replies.

I am aware of dotproject and PHProjekt but, as you say, I find it a little difficult to use and am sure that there is a better solution out there. I'm currently trying out achievo which looks promising.

However I also took a look at basecamp, and wow! It looks amazing. I just don't know whether I can justify the subscription. Has anybody else had any experience of it?

I have heard a lot of people recommend basecamp but you never know if it is just effectively viral marketing or actually people that have used it.

Personally never put much stock in PM software and only used MS Project occasionally to draw Ganet charts but my work in project management is business rather than IT where constraints, budgets etc are much more fluidic/ ill defined which doesnt suit any software
