HI

Stumbled across this site while looking for information on sending press releases.
I notice it has been mentioned a few times about where to send press releases to but i was looking for some more spcific information and recommendations.
I work for a new media content company specialising in digital music delivery.

I would like to get our press featured on sites like Tech crunch, blogger sites etc.

What is the general procedure, am i best hiring a specific agent, is it worth using something like response source,

Any help appreciated and if you want to recommend your own services thats fine, mainly looking for an overview and some suggestions.

Thanks in advance

L

Hi Lee

If you are looking for useful hints and tips, then there are various ideas and recommendations on our blog.

When you say "blogger sites etc", do you mean getting mentioned on actual blogs?

Let us know what you do as a business and I will certainly see if I can give any good advice.

Hi Lee

Yes I've used them a lot. The most expensive one is best (isn't it always!). Try the UK version too. There are lots of free ones too but PR Web are the best. You could also try press box. Don't know what you know about SEO but get a professional to write a newsworthy article about your product and then try and add links wherever possible trying not to over do it. Here's an example http://www.prwebdirect.com/releases/2008/9/prweb1347674.htm

thanks

Hi Dan

Couple more questions if thats ok

1) been looking into everything extensively and wondered if you had any opinions over using the UK or US version. Our clients are around 50% UK, 50% US and Europre.

2) Am looking to get it professionally written, do you have any recommendations?

Cheers

Lee
