I have been reading some threads and your name keeps coming up, so I thought rather than starting a thread I would contact you direct.
I recently started a web based project but unfortunatly the person doing my web design (who has a full time IT job) is finding it hard to dot the I's and cross the T's in respect to the site - (a demo but not the real deal architectoftheyear dot org )
The project is made up of Myself, an accountant, a sales person and the web developer. We are each working on a sweat equity basis until we begin to generate sponsorship revenue (epected by mid July).
I am looking to include an additional web developer to assist the guy who has already created the site. Someone who like him can offer a small amount of time in the anticipation of a roi further down the line.
The last time I had a similar project within 18 months we were turning over £1m+ as I am a dynamic driven high achiever (archive.thisislancashire.co.uk/2000/8/11/718907.h t m l )
The 3 other guys working with me are onboard because they have all worked for me in the past and have made serious amounts of money.
The site as you will know is Joomla based. What we need is a new template for the site, an online voting system and some minor tweeks. If you would consider joining ourband of merry men I can offer 2 options. 1) You give us a price for the work, which we agree to pay when we have hit £10k of sponsorship (so would be higher than a normal rate). 2) You get a small equity in the business.
You may decide that this is not for you and I totally understand that you would be taking a risk, which I why the return I offer is more than if I simply paid for the work.
