Posts showing up as "Anonymous User"

All new posts seem to be showing up as being made by "Anonymous User" - including my own. Whazzup?

At least that's happening here:

Supporting someone with ADHD

Does anyone else employ anyone with ADHD, and if so how do you manage them and deal with issues around attention span and focus? I've got an apprentice who has declared they have ADHD and I have no issue with supporting anyone with any bespoke needs, but it is disruptive when they lose focus...

Busines Members can ask a question anonymously if they don't want the thread linked to their account or their business. By starting an anonymous thread (only Business Members can do this) the whole thread remains anonymous to everyone (except UKBF staff and mods - who can see who made each post for moderating purposes)

I must admit, I am not a fan. On other sites it gets very confusing when you don't know if the anon member responding to you is the one who first had the issue.

Agreed. In practice, this does make it difficult to follow who the original poster is.

I'll add an item to our to-do list to review this part of the system and see how tricky it is to make only the original poster anonymous.

Ha! I have just read that ADHD thread before landing on this one.

I wasn’t sure if it wasn’t just the OP replying to themselves. Looked like a really bad self promotion thread - I thought that at least a spammer normally creates a second account to answer their original question with their solution.
