Photographic locations

I really need to find somewhere to take some shots of our new outdoor products.

We have used grass before (local wildlife park) but I would like to have a nice garden backdrop (a very large nice garden)

Is there a site that exists to pick location shots etc?

I'd just do it anyway. You probably need some sort of license, they have a license for everything these days, permission to stand in a crowd of more than 3, carrying a ball in the park etc.

A child and mother were asked to leave our local park because the child was riding a tricycle, the Park Warden said he was riding a bike and they were both banned from the park until further notice...the child was 4

Just do it anyway though..sod them..i doubt anyone will complain unless they're goody two shoes.

edit he was 3 years old: heres the linky

I want to take some photos of my own items in the local park am I allowed by law to do this?

Its a local park run by one of the local councils?

It depends on the local byelaws. Generally speaking most councils will require you to ask permission 1st and to prove your photographer has public liability insurance. A small fee may be charged.

Offically most places like this will require a permit for commercial photography although in the past I'vee tried my luck. However its only been with models/small items that could carry so depends on what your product it? (its harder to be sneaky with a double sized bed?)
