Hi.
Question for you, our small construction have been doing very well and for the last 10+ years we had constant jobs, refurbishment, extensions, small new builds etc etc, everything you expect from a construction firm, but those jobs have been really only recommendations, with no clear website or nothing its surprisingly been going well.
So now, that I have joined my father in helping the company, I think its time to expand, in terms of reaching out to other professionals (architects, surveyors etc) and exchanging leads and grow further as a business with a quality networking professional relationships.
What in your experiences or thoughts would be the best approach for doing so? Emailing/calling architectural firms, planning consultants, surveyors etc and saying what? We'd offer a sensible commission fee based on the contract price, would they be interested?
Looking at local council planning permissions and obtaining architects/planning consultants details from third party plans and giving it a shot?
I'd appreciate your thoughts and views on this subject. Also what would a decent percentage for commission be in your eyes?
Thanks
