I don’t browse this website very often but have noticed recently that the pages are taking ages to load up.
Most other sites I frequent are fine.
Is this a site problem or a server problem?
Either way it’s extremely off putting.

Unless you have some form of ad blocker or disable javascript in your browser, a typical page load has over 270 requests to various tracking scripts and such.

That could be a reason...

It is me...

Or at least my iPad.

I've checked my iPhone and PC and its fine on them but for some reason its just so slow on the iPad.

I don't have any problems with other sites except this one.

Unless anybody has any ideas I'll just have to put up with it.

Weird.

Coincidentally, I noticed earlier this week that UKBF was very slow to load on my iPad using Firefox.

I didn't try other browsers because other sites on other tabs were fine so I assumed it was UKBF.

Today UKBF is slow using Firefox on a superfast laptop. Everything else is fine on it.

I use AdBlock Plus, NoScript etc

no need to be brave to use it

Yes, very brave to use it and one of the worst browser there is and the only reason why millions of apple user use is because it is the default one and th typical apple user mentality. As soon as you installed any other browser on the ipad the problem will simple go away.
