P45 too short to search for

Hi,

I have a query about issuing a P45 but thought I'd search to see if it's already been discussed.

But you can't search the forums for "P45" - the phrase is too short.

I can understand the excluding common short words, but any way to enable searching on the various I.R. form names would be helpful (maybe some techie terms too).

Not sure what your query is but why not have a look at the day to day payroll guide on HMRC site, here:

Hi Dan,

It's something I will have our technical guys look into - I think vBulletin recommend certain restrictions on the character length of searches for reasons of system performance, but if we can change this we will.

Members have mentioned this before (especially as in business there are so many acronyms - SEO in particular is a popular one!).
