Order Management Solution - Suggestions?

Hi

Does anyone have recommendations for a Magento extension to enable efficient processing of high volume B2C orders (up to 600+ / day) including:

1) Producing pick lists that can be for all orders or a subset of orders (product type and / or shipping type and / or destination etc)
2) Marking items as picked & updating order statuses through the fulfilment process
3) Bulk processing orders to print required documentation and pass orders to 3rd party software - Royal Mail, DHL etc (We have separate extensions lined up for the integrations).

We are looking at moving to Magento but it appears the out-of-the-box order fulfilment / management functionality is pretty basic and inefficient - would Magento users agree?

Any thoughts / ideas very gratefully received.

Rather than do this within Magento it is probably worth using a dedicated system http://www.cloudcommercepro.com/ Leave magento to collect orders.
