Optimisation or optimization in the UK?

I think what is the right spelling and which keyword is searched for are 2 seperate issues. I hate Americanisation of our language and its forceful so called internationalisation of words that are American not British e.g color, license etc.

However I have become so brainwashed with optimization all over the web that I now spell it like that, and it infuriates me. So I guess even if school teaches it with an 's' the Internet will win the battle.

Yeh, quite right. Look at the rich history of language development over the many, many centuries.

America as is, is only a couple of hundred years old and trying to tell us how to speak and write. Their language could so easily have been German as that was one of the main languages there at the time. Just think, I would not be able to understand a word Bush was saying, fantastic!!

Hang on! I can't anyway. :D

Have to agree David our clients in New Zealand might have a hard time finding us if we did not slip in a bit of US English.

Plus the UK in web terms is a pin prick.

As for unwashed morons we just love them, cause they are more likely to make a spontaneous purchase than the intellectuals in society .

You would be surprised how many unwashed morons have 10k in there back pockets to spend on one of our watercraft.;)

and many of them are unwashed because they have been out working bloody hard doing the jobs that keep society going

rant over
