Can anyone recommend a UK bank that will let me setup a business account, without having to go into a branch?

I had a look at Starling, but I can't run my business from a mobile app service only. I also need to be able to do bank transfers to and from the USA and Bulgaria

NatWest offer an online service, providing they can find you on a credit and AML search they will allow a remote opening service. Sometimes you have to take a selfie holding your passport, but if you apply via your mobile phone they do it all from your camera.
Thanks

Santander were pretty good at doing stuff at a distance.
    Santander.
I agree. Smooth, quick, efficient and with a telephone number where you can actually reach a person who'll deal promptly and courteously with any problem.

On behalf of a client I have recent experience with opening a Santander account, all online, and I would recommend them highly.

The worst bank for business accounts is, IMO, Barclays (though there is some stiff competition for the title of Britain's worst bank).
