Apparently:

Billing Department of paypal sent you an estimate for £650.00 GBP.

...to buy an 'EBAY E GIFT CARD'

This is twice now because yesterday it was £600 to buy an Amazon gift card.

The good news is there is a support link I can click on the refute the estimate. All I have to do is give them my bank account details....

And your passcodes surely ? Don't forget to include them just for completeness.

Good point. Need to keep my money safe.

Top tip. Upload images of your credit cards to instagram so you always have the card numbers handy if you ever leave you wallet or purse at home.

Hah, you reeckon? I got this email a moment ago:
"My name is Thornton Peter Joseph (Esq), a legal practitioner here in the United Kingdom. Please, do you have a profitable business where we can invest a sum of Thirteen million four hundred thousand united states dollars) within the period of 5 to 7 years. It's a matter of urgency, my client bears the same name with you."

I challenge anyone to find anybody with the same name as me.

Well it must have been mad Tuesday, two emails telling me my Amazon account has been hacked, Apple pay suspended and three calls to mobile that are not in my contact list (sorry if you're not in the contacts I ignore you) and a txt on claiming my energy rebate, its nice to know some people are keeping busy.

I’ve been in contact with three different people all who have covid. Each text pointing to a different scam site.

I never thought I'd wish for spam from Nigerian princes and Viagra, but it would make a welcome break from the current bombardment of illiterate, dreary offers of SEO or 'beautiful websites'.
It would appear in some foreign parts everyone and his dog is a SEO specialist. The most annoying one for me at the moment is this EU business listing one which appears to keep getting around my spam filters or they have an endless supply of domain names
