New underwear trends! Why are most boxer shorts so uncomfortable?

Help me out here please if you can, im looking to find a niche in the market for comfortable underwear for men which focuses on quality and the perfect fit . So I usually buy quite nice branded underwear which claims to do all of this and all of that but they are so uncomfortable. I can be sitting there doing absolutely nothing and they would ride up and up like they are being eaten. Does anyone know of any good, comfortable fitting boxers to draw inspiration from? What do people recommend?

I find boxer shorts quite comfortable. Perhaps its simply finding a good fit for the person.
I buy mine from George. The Asda brand.

Quality - great. Decent quality underwear is the ahem foundation ahem of our clothing.
Perfect fit? Hard to figure out without trying them on.... and you don't want people trying them on and then not buying.

There are several companies spending a lot of money on promoting this type of product at the moment.

Having yet to have worn most boxer shorts, I don't feel qualified to comment. The most I can manage is 10 pairs, even in a disappointingly bad week.

I suspect this is a bit of subjective thing. If I found my underwear uncomfortable, I wouldn't wear it.

I think my last purchase was in a small shop somewhere in Palma. They are fine.

nowadays trunk style boxers but they dont last long (elastic detaches from main body)

But when i was young I went to a school that provided all clothing (except games kit) including underwear and PJ's, we had cotton Y-Fronts from a company called Morley, they were v.comfortable and lasted for ever even being boil washed in the school laundry
