Why do you need build a call centre? Can't you just use one of the many existing call centre to ring up prospects?

I don't like the idea of other people running the calls and I'm just a small start-up so money isn't over abundant. I've had a few people start but only seem to last about a month or so

Why don't you use your own B2B Lead Generation Software to promote your business?

Its back end , so its used to see whose visited the site rather than attracting new clients, I ring the companies that visit my site.

Maybe you are an expert at cold calling. But you haven’t called me even though I’ve been on your website for the last hour…

As an aside.... You don't include cold calling as a sales hack on your blog. Just saying

Hello and welcome to the forum - I can't offer much in respect of a call center, I'm not a fan of them for a number of reasons.

If it's a web based business there may be better options available to get your leads - what is it you sell, by your username I'm guessing data?

Seo and google ads really didnt work that well, Ill be calling you tomorrow when I see your details on the system , Ive tried email campaigns,not great. So far telesales has been the most effective for us

I'll be totally honest here - If I'm on a website browsing and my phone rings and it's someone from the site I'm on, I wouldn't like it and I'd probably never visit the site again. Maybe that's just me though. I prefer to allow people to browse without feeling tracked or violated, it's very easy to use a chat facility or call if they wish to do so. It sounds like a very difficult business to me. Sorry for sounding negative but that's my honest opinion.

I've responded on another thread.

Running a call centre is a specialist skill - and very hard work.

There is so much more to it than luring people in with promises of commission and setting them loose on the phones.

As others have suggested, why not focus on your skill set and outsource the telescoping to a company with demonstrable skills at doing it?

It is a bit spooky when someone calls you whilst your on the site, EE are great at that I generally wait until the following day or so before calling. Its hard to get people on board but once they are its all automated so, really nice once their on

That's because you aren't doing it right. SEO and ads for a business like yours can generate loads of really good leads.

Be interesting to see if you do manage to identify me from my visit to the site. I did notice a lack of cookie permissions....

I have no doubt your software is great. Your problem seems to be marketing. Upgrade to business membership and get a website review. Fix all the issues and you should soon see a rise in direct leads.

I wondered this myself and can only think of cookies and/or IP addresses, and shared data from other sources. I know it is possible to a degree as I've seen it tested by another company.

Your essentially correct in what your saying in how we do it. So far everything seems good here , many people are going through the same situations as us and Im sure Ill learn loads.

Sorry - call me thick but I still don't understand. My telephone number is stored on someone's server somewhere and your system retrieves it and makes it available to a third party without my consent ?
I don't see how that can be lawful - does the ICO say it is ?
