Hi,

I’m fairly new to Adwords and PPC in general.

I started a campaign a few weeks back and was using existing site pages as my landing pages. After doing a lot of reading on the subject I decided to design a standalone ‘focussed’ landing page (test page seen here), designed to encourage people to fill in a quote request form.

If anyone has any experience in the area and has any positive / negative comments on my landing page, then the feedback would be greatly appreciated!

You've got an immediate call to action, without giving the prospect a reason why they should take the trouble to contact you.

(or even really explain what you're offering)

It's putting the cart before the horse in your sales process. And, therefore, I'd expect it to perform poorly.

Hope this helps,

Steve

A good landing page should have:

1)Unique statement
2)Compelling offer
3)Call to action
4)Easy way to respond

This is an example of a good landing page http://coffeehousetheology.com/

Wishing you all the success in the world,

This looks like a classic American Sales letter and I would leave this page faster then I arrived. Although I may not be your target market.

I couldn't find a way to navigate from the landing page to other pages in the site. The images on the left hand side looked interesting enough for me to think "hmm, wouldn't mind looking at a few of the other designs" but I couldn't figure out how to. So basically, you locked me into asking for a quote, when I didn't know what products I could ask for a quote for.
