hi i am new to the forum,i am in the process of starting my own online shopping website but i would like to know how to advertise in the best way on forums, or how to go about getting links from other sites as i dont have any idea how to do any of this as it is the first business i have opened on line.i would be so grateful for some help.thanks

Where do your competitors advertise? Might be a good idea to check out how they advertise their products.

Dig around Google and the internet and try and find their link profile. There are tools to find your competitor's backlinks.
