New office

Hi,

So moving into an office shortly and could use some info on where to find

  • phone system for international calling (linking to 6 desks)
  • what sort of computers / tech set up for feeding leads to people.
  • I want to send leads into a queue to then appear on screen of available agent and auto dial.

Sure its all possible but not sure what to even google.

Before you go too far down the road of thinking "phone system" I'd recommend thinking more communications overall. Try to avoid thinking in the mindset of being at a desk and instead think - could this work over a coffee sat in Starbucks.
Softphone style communications, running as an App on a mobile or on a laptop. Don't tie yourself to a desk so that opens doors to being more flexible, and there are hundreds if not thousands of options out there. A member on here who's been around a while is @cjd who will be able to expand on this, his firm provide these but I don't know if what he does will work with the following - so I'll let Colin comment on that...
    • what sort of computers / tech set up for feeding leads to people.
    • I want to send leads into a queue to then appear on screen of available agent and auto dial.
You're looking for a CRM solution such as the likes of Salesforce or Dynamics, and there are many others. The auto-dial can sometimes come with the phone solution that will come with various add-ons or plugins that will connect with many CRM.

The thing you will need to think about it what is more important, the CRM of the phone system and start with that. I may be wrong, but the best CRM may not work with your favourite or best phone system so what is more important.

Yes a crm that integrates lead distribution and a dialling system of some kind too.

I could use a few names to start with, salesforce is way more CRM than required, our site has a CRM to manage incoming enquiries, what is being set up now is the outbound B2B call centre

I am on a few forums, this one has 275,000 members apparently.

1 reply from the owner and 1 person who rather than try to answer or provide useful info just began questioning the decision to open an office v working remote.

Had my thread been, not sure whether to have sales people work remotely or open an office then it would make sense., seems to be a forum disease that people cannot just reply to the question asked

    Expected a lot more.
Almost pointless being a member if that is the response and input.

Which, for whatever reason, you didn't want to answer. As it so happens, I was trying to get more information from you to suggest either the right solution, or suitable alternatives but since you decided to have an attitude, it's not surprising nobody has bothered to answer you.

So you expect to be spoon-fed solutions rather than being proactive?

Haha, good luck with your new venture with that attitude!

I think you need to reset, @MEIAM. :)

If you take a look around these forums, and ask well-formed questions when necessary, then the UKBF community really can provide life-changing help.

For example, I'm currently reading up on marketing - something I've always struggled with. I've been reading various articles which have been very helpful, but I've also been dipping into various relevant discussions here on UKBF.

It is because of the latter that I now feel convinced that I can eventually master target marketing - enough to give up contracting, and make a good living out of my apps.

    Good luck! :)

You answered my question with a question

I did not answer your question because i do not require your input on the decision to be office based v remote.

I do not want the right solution or alternatives I asked about technology that could manage leads in a call centre and any phone systems that might work.

I have an attitude because i am not answering questions on the choice to take an office?

    What a joke.

    Asked on FB
got 30 replies people offering different systems they had tried etc

    So kindly go **** yourself

Honest, professional advisors will always ask for information, context and will consider alternatives
Doesn’t need professional advisors, they got 30 helpful answers on Facebook.
