Hi guys,

I am a new member to this forum and I am the owner of my own online retailer Glitz n Glamour Cosmetics. As you can tell from the title I sell cosmetics products. I have an eshop and I also trade on eBay. I've been trading for approx 2 months and thought I would join this site in order to seek out advice and make some new friends


I hope to speak to some of you soon and I'm sure I will be bending some ears for advice in due course too

Why does your home page state "We offer FREE delivery to ALL UK Customers", but your shipping rates contradict this?

Hi,

Good luck, i used to run an online shop with my mum, its hard work. Infact we closed down because we never had the time to invest in it.

Its possible to earn good money from this sector as the profit margins arnt bad i just think you need the traffic to earn it.

I hope the business goes well, but PLEASE get your site compliant with Business Names Acy - not only is it a legal requirement but it look so much more professional. (Just a little bugbear of mine)

Good point made about your contradictory postage rates.

I wish you every success. I trade online in several niches and have seen sales grow exponentionally this year. The internet is definitely the place to be.
