New logo design.

Im thinking up some new ideas for our logo.

What is the first animal etc you think of when I tell you our name

T-e-r-r-a-s-a-w take away the -'s. Like terror then the saw all together.

Why animal?
I thought of the Earth/Globe straight away, (Terra infirma as the greenies would have us believe).

If so, then the earth/terra firma option would definitely be the one I'd go for myself.

animal is the first thing I think of and something that I think could work well.

Some people have said tiger!

I think a rhino looks good but totally random..

Then I'd be thinking along the lines of 'Tear' and go with that.

Sorry, but the animal thing doesn't do it for me, unless maybe in the dinosaur range

The first thing that came to my mind was a dinosaur! Lots of them have names ending in saur which could be a play on words with saw.

its either a rhino or the Pterodactyl im going to need second opinions

the rhino is totally random but does look great plus it does give the message of tough and strong.

just decided on a fox/wolf design dont ask why just think it looks the part.

Now on to the font.

why not design an animal or creature yourself along the lines of a dinosaur as when I read the name dinosaur was the first thing I thought of. I also thought of a duck billed platipus but instead of the bill have it designed with like a saw with the teeth along the outside edges.

Like others have said, dinosaurs is the first thing that came to mind when I read it. I think it's the terra part of the name.

All great suggestions but what I don't understand is - why do you have to decide now?? Brainstorm and split test your ideas to "prove" that it works...

Definitely has a dinosaur connotation for me. A lot that can be done with that concept seeing as you sell blades!
