Hi everyone,

I have an new online application idea. It will alow people to post their business problems and wait for another businesses to contact them with their solution to the problem.

It will have the filters like industry, sectors, technology etc.

What do you guys think? Is it worth the time building such a think or something similar already exist out there?

There are already loads of sites, forums, blogs and other resources. If I need a solution I can pretty much guarantee someone out that has already posted the answer. If not then someone on UKBF can help.

But supposing you do create this site? How do you plan to tell people about it? And then get people to use it?

Here is the thing.

You don't need to *build* anything.

Create a landing page with mock-ups of what it will do, send to traffic to it and see if there is any interest. Too many software companies spend months/years building something, get to the end and realise they are solving a non-existent problem.

How do you get it to pay, look at this forum with all the free members

Only way to get money is by advertising and to get adverts you need to have a very active site that people keep coming back to

When you have the site up , then contact MrD and he will build up his post count for you with all highly irrelevent comments for free

Yes it is this forum sadly it can be too honest to protect the wealth of those asking the questions .
People don't like it when you don't give them the answers just to keep them happy
