We’re a newly launched freight brokerage company based in the UK and currently in the early stages of building our network. We're facing challenges in finding consistent loads, especially from industrial estates and manufacturing hubs.

How and where to find available loads on a regular basis

The best platforms or websites to connect with load owners, hauliers, or dispatchers

Tips for approaching industrial estates or manufacturers to build relationships

Any directories or resources that might help with load sourcing

When you say brokerage are you managing the shipments for the customers or just negotiating rates for the customers?

What type of loads are you looking for vans / part loads / full trailer loads ?


As for getting new business i have no secrets unfortunately, just speak to people on the phone / face to face / referrals / networking

Start from the other end, why will operators want to use you over their existing forwarder/broker, or the online platforms that are available?

The answer may well lie in that question

Most people start up these companies because they already have a good amount of trade or can offer a niche international forwarding and customs service
