Need to create Brand Awareness - Which bulk emailer services are the most effective??

Hi, im trying to create some big brand awareness for my shipping company, Apollo Exports International.


So far ive managed to-

*Get it into prime rank on Google and Yahoo for our main keyword phrases search.

*Building up an email address directory of previous business customers which i can use for a mild level of email targeted advertising, combined with returning customer discount coupons,
to try and attract further business from them.

*In the process of finalising the launch of a Christmas charity donation to a few local highstreet charity stores, with a certain % of all our profit between start of October and Christmas Eve being donated.

Partially due to my age/Partially creative PR and marketing by me, it's managed to attract the attention of 2 of the local newspapers,
and possibly a 3rd in the form of a local schools newsletter.

And also will have come to the attention of the other local highstreet stores, and their customers.



My futher future goal will be to arrange meetings with the buyers/logistics personnel from as many big name companies as possible who would be importing their goods from China. (Target of 60-100 companies)

To give short-sharp sales pitches to them, focusing heavily on the prices we could offer,
and to just try pulling in as many of them as possible to switching from their current shipping company to us instead.



However before i even start planning the operational and strategic sides of that in more detail,
i would for now just like to launch a targeted bulk-email marketing campaign for the next 6-8months,
and so see how much business that generates.


But does anyone know of any free effective genuine mass-email services?

And if you've used them before how much extra business did they generate for you?

With regards to the email system I don't know of any free ones that are any good. If you're looking for low price I'd recommend Campaign Monitor - very effective, flexible, does everything you want and is pretty cheap.

The emarketing system is just a tool though. What will help you generate business is the quality of the email, the messages in it and how it is written. There are a number of things to consider and over time you will find out what works and doesn't work.

If you want to speed that up you may want to consider a company that offers email marketing (like us) - we know what works across different industries, what gets people to open emails and what gets people to click through.
