To be fair, you won't be the first deluded individual to think...

    (a) he's had an idea for a multi-billion pound app (cos apps is where you can make loadsa money, innit)
    (b) refuse to share this idea with a forum because it's so amazing somebody might steal it (although if it was such a good idea, someone has probably already had the idea and it doesn't work or isn't feasible)
and (c) then start to hurl insults because you don't get the answers you want or people desperate to throw money at you

....and you won't be the last :)

I'm out of here there's no respect on this forums People feel like they can say whatever they want, ridiculous

Particularly yourself it would seem, since you've just hurled a particularly personal insult in the direction of @Mark T Jones - something about being in a retirement home and having alzheimers I think it was?

I'm afraid you don't come across particularly well based on the above, so good luck getting investment for your idea.
Also there's nothing new under the sun - if it hasn't been made already then its most not a multi billion dollar idea. Ask yourself seriously, why has no one made this app already? The probability that you're the first to think of it is very slim unfortunately.

Presuming of course that this post will result in a personal insult coming my way next...

Very true but if you see right up at the start I have clearly stated that I needed advice and wow I got more than I could of possibly imagine so yeah I'm pretty much satisfied with the replies and I understand everything and everyone's point of view, I'm past the idea phase now and I'm looking to develop it and I will, thank you all for your time and patience and your knowledge was much appreciated.
Just remember one thing, make sure you get the right people for development from stage one or else you'll only regret in future. Check there portfolios or ask for reviews from people who's apps they have built. I did something similar not the app but a GUI software it was a right mess in the end. Luckily it didn't cost me much. I've already recovered it any after getting it designed from somewhere else. Good Luck.

As a serious note, and speaking from experience, you really do get what you pay for.

In this instance, 20% of zero is zero, and unfortunately the app builder is going to prioritise paying gigs over this, and as such will take you a significantly longer time to complete.
The app I had made started off by using freelancers and guys who would work on it on a evening for a reduced rate, but the speed of development was very slow, and I couldn't put pressure on anyone.
In the end we agreed to part ways, it wasn't a good deal for either side. I ended up coughing up £1000s to pay a studio to complete the work, but it was done in a few months, rather than years, and the end result is better than I could have expected.

Well a quick Google search tells me that your 20 guys and seven vans is one transit with the business contact number a mobile number.

Hardly the enterprise you've made it out to be. No wonder you cannot afford to invest in your excellent idea.
do you really think that I should of pictured 7 vans or said I did have 7 vans?? There's plenty places where to advertise especially if I'm targeting different cities all over Scotland :)

very true, I have been very unprofessional, I tend to loose my temper quickly, fair enough I apologise, Im not used to speak on a blog I tend to get a lot of respect from people when I speak to them face to face, it's just something God blessed me with, also discovered that many of you have been talking since at the very start yesterday and they been very helpful and nice, that being said I do sincerely apologise for any arrogant statements made by me, I'm 23 and I can be very silly, all of you are intelligent individuals and all of your advice is appreciated. I make a lot of mistakes but I tend to learn from them, my application idea ?? We will see only time will tell, thanking you for all of your time and your patience.

Yes you should absolutely picture your full fleet and staff. Unless you are concentrating on the “man and a van” service you advertise, which must be very difficult to do from bed!!

A website would also be a good idea, as would less of the bovine manure you talk.

Very true but yell, Gumtree and leaflets generated a lot of work also I deal with different kinds of removals like collection of heavy metals, home removals (any sort really) house clearances and I have some strong regular costumers, I have sighed with the rock trust for example Wich I donate forniture regularly for young adults living alone or struggling and in exchange they pay me to deliver them to houses all over, I also have a storing space where I put all of the nice stuff I get from here and there and some of it goes to charity and others get sold. By the way "from bed" that was retoricly said, I do enjoy to put myself out there and get involved and motivate my team or take them out for buffets and stuff so I'm not lazy I do also work on other projects, I'm getting together a team of takeaway drivers and the plan is to supply different takeaways with as many drivers as they need for a fixed weekly fee ecc ecc amazing generous pay for drivers, I'm willing to offer a service Wich is faster than Uber and deliveroo

I own a food delivery business, I would be interested to hear the science/idea behind this? I may be able to offer more constructive specific feedback.

Nothing complicated really, I just want to provide relaible delivery drivers, and just help take aways deliver as much as they can without being worried about employ anyone as my agency will deal with everything and in return a fixed fee weekly.

Your agency will employ them? Nice.
Providing reliable? delivery drivers, good luck with that. Appears to be a core of unreliable delivery drivers who appear to have worked for multiple delivery companies.
Lots of agencies provide delivery drivers.

We will employ them but having them being self employed and deal with their own national insurance n.

    Then...you're not employing them.

help take aways deliver as much as they can without being worried about employ anyone

But you're not worrying about employing anyone either, by your own admission above. So why would I not just do what you are planning to do and cut out the middleman?

There is a lot of need for reliability.

Absolutely. And there are a lot of unreliable drivers who decide when they do or don't want to turn up or what mood they want to be in when they get there, therefore how quickly they get out with their orders, get them to the customer, and how they interact with the customer. Believe me, I've been through enough problems with food delivery drivers!

But if you came to me offering your services, how are you going to alleviate that for me? What is going to be different about your drivers? And how are you going to "offer a service Wich is faster than Uber and deliveroo" - this sounds like something pretty radical rather than just acting as an agency to supply drivers?

I am intrigued; certainly in my takeaway business the biggest issue with growth is not so much how much food we can sell or cook, it's how quickly, efficiently, reliably and cost effectively we can get the food delivered, hence my interest in your proposal.

Money!!! Money is the answer, if drivers are not reliable is because they don't believe they get paid enough? Also drivers are of the categories, some are slow others are fast, others are dumb and can't find a doorbell and others are just born drivers and enthusiastic individuals, I believe in presentation and way lesser in the product, pay them good money, make them feel important to the business and train them!!! Make eye contact and called them by name!! Motivate them and sooner than you think all be having an army of them and all be supplying many takeaways not just one, also train them give them good pay plus bonuses to incite them to do great, offer higher pay for drivers who are loyal and worked for longer, you know many takeaways don't understand the importance of their drivers, they don't train them they don't even want to know their names and sometimes a bad driver can ruin all of your business!! Like the driver who begged me for tips when I ordered food, or the one who put a foot inside my house letteraly and I had to tell him to step back, or just the ones that aren't enthusiastic about what they do, drivers are like receptionist at a hotel, it doesn't matter how great it was your stay if they are rude or weird they ruin everything

Why is it faster than Uber and deliveroo?? Simple, my driver's will be there and won't move meanwhile Uber and deliveroo have to get to you and then deliver meanwhile my drivers are there ready!! You have them and weekends you can ask for how many as you want, after all who knows your business better than you do.

But I can pay them more money. In fact, if I wasn't also paying you your commission/management fee, I could pay them even more!

Besides, that can't simply be an answer to everything. My business runs at a certain profit level, that includes all of my fixed and variable overheads and a calculated wage (above NMW) for drivers. Simply "pay them more money" and they will work better doesn't quite work - more money has to come from somewhere - either off my bottom line, or goes onto the cost of the product to the consumer. This I can't do because I am already the same price or more expensive than my competitors. Whilst they may pay more for a product that they enjoy the taste of more than my competitors, or is a bigger portion, I don't believe they will pay more just because the delivery driver arrives with a smile.

The problem is a real one; your solution isn't. I would agree that to better motivate drivers (and in fact all staff) a combination of good pay, training, eye contact, respect and perks/bonuses is all essential. But I can do all these things myself, without you. What is your business offering to help me? This is what I am not seeing.

Wow if you can do all of that and still have all the hair on your head good on you mate, what I'm saying is for a small weekly fee you'll get rid of a huge responsibility and pass it on to someone else's that will only focus on that rather Than you having to deal with everything!!! I understand it's a commodity that not many can afford, obviously the most successful takeaways Wich are planning to take things to the next level will love this.

That’s going to be very expensive, not just the downtime when they are twiddling their thumbs but stick on holiday pay, ni, pension, sick/holiday cover, insurance etc and I’d bet it’s not viable.

To be fair, the beauty of UberEats/Deliveroo is that I don't need to know how many I want. If I sell one meal that day, Deliveroo come once and I'm charged for it. Sell 100 meals, they come 100 times and I'm charged 100 times.

Hire one or 10 of your drivers and I'm paying for them no matter if I sell 1 or 100.

Unless I've misunderstood your target market..But UberEats & Deliveroo is aimed more at offering a simple "bolt on" delivery option to established eat in/collection only restaurants. For the reasons I mention above there is almost no risk, and very little investment. They are basically making food like they would for any other in house customer, but instead of putting it on a table they put it into a deliveroo bag. More traditional takeaway/delivery places are already geared up for doing deliveries. They know the local areas and combine orders for multiple drop deliveries. They know how many drivers they need on a Monday night compared to a Saturday night. They usually have a "bank" of staff available to drive for them, and more often than not they have flexibility built into their team where one member of staff might be "floating". Perhaps a kitchen based job or supervisors job but they then jump on to deliver if they are at full capacity.

I am just not sure what your proposed business is going to offer.

Well you seem to think you can do it, whilst simultaneously running your 7 van/20 man operation. Why can't I do it whilst running my business?

Here's some honest feedback from your target market:

I run a successful takeaway, and I'm looking at various ways to take things to "another level". You have not demonstrated anything in your proposal that would entice me to use your services. You haven't demonstrated how your services would benefit my business, improve productivity, do something I couldn't, save money, or increase sales.

Then you want employees, not self employed.
The control you are wanting the self employed don't give you.
And employees have rights and your business has responsibilities.

Now why would a takeaway use you rather than employing the drivers direct and saving money?

then again you seem like a great business owner and like you said my services won't bring anything on your table that you don't already have, my target will be takeaway's Wich struggle to find reliable motivated drivers, wish all the luck and well being my friend.

Why?? Well the answer is pretty simple actually, you can't hire more than you need, also you won't have delivery drivers Willing to only work for you when you need them the most so you'll always be running either short or worse have someone employed by you that you don't need most of the time, another issue also arises here, if you offer for example 2 delivery drivers full time they are more likely to stay if you pay them fair, in the other hand if you get busier the weekend that's when you will need extra drivers and those drivers are the very ones that will end up being the most unreliable because n1 you only need them part time and the pay is already too little n2 they are swingers they are either students looking for something quick or adults that will leave you as soon as they find a full time position, bottom line, you as a takeaway owner will always be looking for that extra drivers, and that's where I come with my idea, you can't borrow drivers from other takeaways? I can give those desperate part time drivers that you only need on the weekend or when you are unexpectedly busy an opportunity to work full time because with my idea they can work in other takeaways to.
What can I bring? I can forever solve that issue not just for takeaway owners but also give more work to the drivers?

Pretty much all of the takeaways are going to need additional drivers at the same time. They all have the same busy periods. Lets say for example:

    - You have 100 drivers on your books, giving them full time work as you say
    - 50 takeaways need 2 drivers each at weekend when they're busy. No problem, at weekends, all your drivers are working!
    - Those 50 takeaways only need 1 driver each during the week. Perfect! They just hire one from you and they save money on a full time wage. That's 50 of your drivers working
    - You are now sat on 50 drivers who are NOT working, but you are paying them a full time wage. How do you pay for that full time wage?
    - One option might be to find an extra 50 takeaways to send those drivers to during the week. Perfect! All 100 drivers are now out working during the week.
    - Come weekend again, and you now have 100 takeaway customers, who all want 2 delivery drivers. You need 200 drivers on your books...and you only have 100!

I am struggling to see how the maths add up.
