Need help setting up ebay and use it to get best results

I dont know much about selling on ebay .
I'm looking for someone to help basic ebay for business use how to use it to get best results,

if possible Im hoping for help someone who has already done this and knows what there doing.

key note (I was restricted from selling years ago but never given a reason) and cant resolve the issue because they are not giving me any information, (we reserve the right)

So im sure I cant have a selling account in a personal name, is there anything I can do, maybe in business name

Have you posted before about it that ban? I seem to remember there were some clues in there as to why you were stopped from selling.

I'd definitely be trying to at least get close to the reason so you can avoid it in future. No point going to all the trouble of setting up listings for you to be closed down again and not know why.

No, there was no clues that I can remember.
this was about 8 years ago, at that time ebay did not give reasons if they did not want to.

from what i can remember it had partly something to do with my sellers rating, but it could have been other reasons also.

Ive tried to ask why but they have they never give me a reason, just they reserve the right or something similar that has no clues to why, I gave up and not used ebay to sell since.

Im not sure if ebay has to give reasons now at that time they could ban you and thats it because I did ask at the time and that was what i was told on another forum.

Now im older and wiser, not a teenager trying to make some extra money, I thought i could try again, but as you say No point going to all the trouble of setting up listings for you to be closed down again and not know why.

I used to work for a guy who had atrocious selling repuation on ebay. Basically used to dropship - list items and then find suppliers to fulfill the order - understandably he got really bad reputation on there and got banned (then rejoined in his spouses name with her mums address and so on).

Anyway, I logged into my personal ebay account from his office once. ebay logged the IP and then I was blocked temporarily, then reinstated with very limited selling rights.

You can try but if they ever link the two you will be banned without access to any funds you have in your business account.

eBay has no obligation to you so will have no compunction in closing you down if they feel you have breached their rules.

For me it was a few things, selling for others who would change there minds or it would have a fault I was not aware of - buyers taking advantage not getting items if items was not tracked ( I realised at the end I should track items but it was almost too late) I was thinking everyone was honest. delay in posting items due to work (only by a day or so) but ebay customers cant wait.

A lot of little things Im still not sure of which could have added up but Ive never been given a reason, so who knows.

Doesn't matter, if you try to set up a business account and they discover who you are you will get banned.

You will be far safer using a different selling platform.
