Hello everybody,

There is a well established and successful business for sale in a field that i have previously been successful in. It already does nicely and i'm confident that i can expand it... All in it will cost around £45k (which i dont have) to take it over. Where's the best place to go for that kind of money?

Thanks.

Alex.

Let it ride!

Hi Alex

The short answer is that there are many places where you can go - it all depends on your current circumstances - what your existing business is - what security you can offer - how you would want to structure the purchase - what assets the business would come with - how strong that business is (i.e. is it worth the money) etc.etc.

Definitely my bag as far as finance goes - email me if you want to explore further.

Kind regards

Ian

Alex how long is a piece of string?

Once you have looked into the new business and discovered all its warts and foibles and decided that yes you want to make a go of it and yes it can support you and yes it can then repay the amount you are seeking, then you need to consider how and when to raise the finance.

There are lots out there who will sort out finance for you, just take advise before you go down the route of committing yourself to a finance deal, that its sustainable!
