Well a very long and uneventful school day has passed and I am finally in the welcoming surroundings of my own home.
After reading all of your comments I have this to say. Firstly I would like to apologise if I have angered or offended you in anyway. I am also sorry if I came across as being arrogant and cocky before, this certainly wasn't my intention and so to redeem myself I have decided to give you a bit more background information about myself. (Please note: I am not looking for your sympathy vote I just think that by me telling you this you will understand me a little bit more)
When I was 4 my dad left me, my mum and my two older sisters. My mum is from Switzerland and at the time spoke very little English. We found it extremely difficult to cope as my Dad gave us no financial support and left my mum on her own with 3 kids, no job or means of transport. Luckily I am from the outskirts of Winchester a very upper class city with little crime and very few rough areas. This meant that I avoided the drugs, drinking and criminal route which I could have easily fallen down were it not for the quiet village environment in which I lived.
At the start me and my mother had a very close relationship but at the age of around 7 she decided to go to university to get a degree which meant a better job and more money for the family. This for me however meant that for the duration of the next 5 years my mother had very little time for me. I guess on the positive side those 5 years trained me to become very independent and taught me how to look after myself. It also meant that I had a hell of a lot of time to kill on weekends etc when my mother was studying. It was during one of those boring weekends that I fell in love with reading. My favourite book is called the Power of One by Bryce Courtney, if you have read it you will know that it is all about the life of a young, white, British South African called Peekay who is born in South Africa during the apartheid. I am not going to bore you with a detailed essay about the book but basically it is about him fighting against the apartheid and standing up to the racist whites. Ever since reading the book I have compared my life to that of Peekays and decided that when I get older my aim is to make a difference in the world. If you have ever read the book and the sequel to it Tandia (which I strongly advise you to do if you haven't already) then you will know that Peekay certainly makes a difference during those times. Similar to that of the 20th century the next 100 years are certainly going to be very wobbly. No one is sure what will happen concerning global warming and the threat of the Middle East etc. What we do know is that the future appears to be extremely unstable. Many changes are going to have to happen and I would be like to be the one who influences those changes.
However to achieve this I believe that I must be in a powerful position to have a valid effect on the world and in almost all cases money equals power so my first step is to make the money.
Well there you have it. The foundations have been laid out and all I have to do now is go out and achieve. Obviously it's not going to be easy but it certainly isn't impossible all I need is the right attitude and a bit of luck. You can call me crazy if you like but it's not going to stop me from trying. I bet everybody said Jesus was crazy but look what he achieved.
Christians believe that Jesus was the messiah but Jews on the other hand still wait for him/her, on Passover we leave the door open for Elijah (the messiah) to enter. Now call me religious but don't you think the need for a messiah is more urgent now than it was 2000 years ago.
